Flooring for New Apartments
Elephant and Castle has many new apartment buildings, and most have rules on flooring, often an acoustic underlay under any hard floor or carpet in bedrooms. Check your lease or building guidance and bring it when you visit. We will help you choose a floor that meets it.
- Vinyl and LVT: Premoda herringbone vinyl and the rest of our vinyl range
- Engineered wood: from V4 Flooring
- Laminate: from Xylo
Carpets for Bedrooms and Rentals
Carpet keeps bedrooms warm and quiet. A modern pattern such as Telenzo Delft Square herringbone suits a contemporary flat, and soft ranges such as Cavalier Silken feel good underfoot. For a let flat, see easy clean carpets such as Cormar Primo Grande.
Terraced Houses Nearby
Towards Kennington and Walworth there are Victorian terraces and conversions. Stairs and halls need a hard wearing carpet, see our stair runners and the stairs guide. Our guide to vinyl, laminate or wood flooring explains the options for flats.
